On the Tube

Sometimes when I sit on the tube I glance at the lock screens of the people next to me. The scary looking guy next to me will have a picture of a smiling young boy. The cranky grandma will have a family picture. The stern looking man will have a cute baby girl. It humanizes these strangers I will never see again. It reminds me that we all love and are loved.
